THE NEED FOR YOU TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR HEALTH NOW

It has been observed that plant based diets such as cereal, fruits and vegetables are increasingly being replaced by diets that are richer in added sugars (Carbohydrates) and animal fats. This transition, combined with general trends towards a more inactive lifestyle is an underlying factor in the risk of developing chronic diseases. Although is generally acceptable that a diet high in fruits and vegetable are recommended for good health, only a small proportion of the world population eat these in sufficient quantity for healthy living. Statistics show that: - Over nine million people die worldwide each year because of hunger and malnutrition out of these, five million are children. Approximately 1.2 billion people suffer from hunger (deficiency in calories and protein). Some two to three and half billion people have micro nutrients (deficiency of vitamins and minerals). Some 1.2 billion suffer from obesity (excess fat and salt often accompanied by deficiency of vitamins and minerals)
